The scientists from Kremenchuk National University have published a monograph in English, which is titled The Fault-Tolerant Control of Induction Motors. In 2024, the book won third place as The Best Publication of the Year.

The development of scientific literature plays a key role in the global recognition of Ukrainian research, which is also proved by the monograph.

The book was written by a team of authors from Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University, including Professor Mykhailo Zahirniak, Doctor of Technical Sciences; Professor Andrii Kalinov, Candidate of Technical Sciences; Anna Kostenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences; Associate Professor Viacheslav Melnykov, Candidate of Technical Sciences and others.

The book was created with the support of ENERGO-PLUS and is now available to a wide audience. The authors of The Fault-Tolerant Control of Induction Motors.

In 2022, the monograph was published by Nova Publishers in New York and is currently available on the Amazon platform and the official website of the publishing house.

The significance and scientific value of the Ukrainian researchers’ work was recognized at the end of 2024, when The Fault-Tolerant Control of Induction Motors won 3rd place as The Best Publication of the Year among monographs.

This contest is held annually by the NGO National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine and is aimed at supporting educators, scientists, and young researchers, as well as encouraging scientific work. In 2024, the competition received 149 applications in various categories from scientific workers, university lecturers, doctoral candidates, and postgraduate students from higher education institutions and research centers.

The Fault-Tolerant Control of Induction Motors is dedicated to the development of fault-tolerant systems for three-phase induction motors, which are widely used in industry. In particular, it explores methods for compensating stator winding faults and analyzes their impact on the dynamic and energy performance of electric drives.

Solving such problems is critically important for industries where the reliability of electric motors determines the stability of production processes. The theoretical and practical approaches presented in the book make it an indispensable source for researchers, engineers, and students specializing in electrical engineering and automated control systems.

ENERGO-PLUS played a crucial role in successful implementation of this research, as the company actively supports technological innovations in the spheres of energy and industrial automation.

The authors of the monograph expressed their special gratitude to the company in the Acknowledgments section, highlighting its contribution to the experimental research and the validation of the developed fault-tolerance methods.

‘We would like to thank ENERGO-PLUS, whose support made it possible to carry out the experimental research presented in this book. This enabled us to solve the issue of compensating for the effects of stator winding faults in induction motors on the dynamic and energy performance of electric drives’, stated in Acknowledgments.
