The main department of the State Tax Service in Poltava oblast recognized the winners of the national and regional stages of the ‘Honest Taxpayers 2023’ Ranking.
According to the results of the competition, Research and Production Enterprise ENERGO-PLUS LLC was recognized as the winner of the All-Ukrainian Ranking in ‘Manufacturing Industry – Production of Electrical Equipment.’
84 applications in total were submitted to the competition by the large, medium, and small enterprises in Ukraine. At the meeting of the Higher Rating Commission, 69 participants were selected as nominees for the competition.
On top of that, ‘ENERGO-PLUS was awarded a diploma as a winner in the first round of the ‘Honest Taxpayers’ Ranking in Poltava oblast in the same nomination.
The Taxpayers Association of Ukraine initiated the Ranking in 2011, but due to the full-scale invasion in 2022, the competition was put on hold. However, at the very first meeting of the Association in 2024, a decision was made to resume the Ranking.
As emphasized during the award ceremony by Yevhen Korf, the Head of Research and Production Enterprise ENERGO-PLUS LLC, ‘Our main strength and asset is our big team of highly skilled experts and scientists. Currently, we are performing many tasks related to the restoration of destroyed and damaged electricity generation and the installation of new capacities. Our specialists have managed to significantly reduce the timeframe required to complete all the operations. Some projects that would have taken a year and a half in peacetime are now completed within four months.’
This year, the selection criteria for winners were somewhat different from regular ones. In addition to the conscientious tax payment, the following aspects of the nominees’ activities were taken into account: the absence of wage arrears, job preservation, and the provision of humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in any form.
Alla Riabkova, the Acting Head of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Poltava oblast, explained that ‘When choosing the winners of the competition, both at the regional and national levels, the main criterion was definitely the conscientiousness of enterprises in tax payment. However, this year, additional factors were considered, such as support for the army and volunteering, participation in interesting projects, as well as manufacturing of new types of products.’
It is worth mentioning that ENERGO-PLUS, which actively prepares young specialists for the energy sector and has been providing the Ukrainian military with essential aid since the first days of the full-scale invasion, meets all the above-listed criteria best of all.
