Technical re-equipment of the electric pulse copying and stitching machine model 4723 by replacing the pulse generator type MGI-P9 with a control system based on magnetic amplifiers with a static transistor inverter generator with adjustable amplitude of current pulses with microcontroller control

The current pulse generator of transistor inverter type (TIGIS-250/28) provides:

• pulse frequency of 400 Hz with a pulse filling factor of 50% and a rise time of no greater than 0.5 ms;
• pulse filling factor at 16 kHz PWM frequency in range 5 to 90%;
• current ripple during the pulse: no greater than 5%;
• rated idle mode DC voltage (average value): 28..30 V;
• maximum continuous operating current (average value): 250 А;
• two ranges of current control: 7.5–50 A and 50–250 A (average value).
