Supply of thyristor self-excitation systems for hydrogenerators of SSGG-1250-460-2UHL4 type

Equipment used, specifics of works provided

The excitation system SSGG-1250-460-2UHL4 consists of:

1. a control cabinet (CC) with a two-channel microprocessor control system based on the Ovation software and hardware complex (SCC), providing full channel redundancy according to the “1+1” scheme;
2. thyristor converter 1 (TC1) and thyristor converter 2 (TC2) cabinets, which together constitute a two-channel power section with two parallel thyristor converters in a “1+1” redundancy scheme;
3. input cabinets (IC);
4. excitation shield cabinets (ESC), implementing an effective field suppression system based on a field suppression contactor (FSC) of the CEX 71 type and nonlinear resistors FME/8000/600A from M&I Materials Ltd;
5. a dry self-excitation rectifier transformer to supply converters with the turbine generator voltage.
