RSD-1-series Motor Drive
Description
The RSD-1-series motor drive is designed for operating the main and grounding blades of outdoor disconnectors with a voltage range from 35 kV to 220 kV.
Design:
The drive cabinet enclosure is made of stainless steel and is securely protected against adverse environmental effects throughout its entire service life.
The cabinet design provides easy access to the internal components during maintenance and repairs; the cabinet doors can be locked for security. The cabinet is equipped with a heating system that prevents condensation formation and ensures stable operation in low temperatures. The motor drive features both local and remote control elements. The cabinet is supplied with sealed cable entries. Additionally, the drive features protection mechanisms for the control and signaling circuits against short circuits and overloads.
In the absence of operational power or during commissioning and maintenance work, the drive mechanism allows the disconnector to be operated manually using the standard handle.
Advantages
- Simple design with tested mechanisms;
- High reliability (10,000 switching cycles);
- High torque (800 Nm) enabling easy operation of single-pole and three-pole disconnectors in extreme weather conditions (e.g., icing);
- Various power supply and control voltage options (110V AC/DC, 220V AC/DC, 380V AC);
- Versatile electrical configuration with auxiliary and control equipment (multi-circuit blocking contacts);
- Remote control and electrical interlocking capability;
- Reliable performance;
- Enclosure made of stainless steel, with zinc-coated steel components;
- Maintenance-free.
