MN-Series 10-35 kV Modular Distribution Devices

Description

MN-series modular sets of distribution substations are used as mobile or stationary power distribution units and/or as part of sets of transformer substations. The module is designed for operation in temperate climates, excluding seaside areas. The application area of the modules of block-modular buildings includes climatic zones with an ambient air temperature from 50°C above zero to 50°C below zero, with a standard wind pressure for wind zones 1-6 according to PUE-2009, and seismic activity of up to 8-9 on the Richter scale. The block-modular buildings are manufactured in compliance with GOST 4.316 and DSTU B.V.2.2-22:2008.

Design:

MN-series modular buildings consist of separate transportable blocks with built-in equipment according to the electrical connection scheme of the project. These blocks are joined at the site where the substation is installed without welding. MN blocks are delivered fully factory assembled, with a lighting control system, fire protection system, climate control system, and installed primary and auxiliary equipment according to the design solution or technical specifications.

MN-series modular buildings are either block-based or a single structure, provided the length does not exceed 8 meters. The base of the module is made of hot-rolled steel profiles. The module design allows for the installation on soil, concrete, asphalted surfaces, foundations, piles, or concrete blocks. The module features a strong frame designed to support equipment with a total weight of no less than 10 tons.

The exterior coating is made of cold-rolled steel at least 1.8 mm thick, coated with powder polymer. As per a technical request or requirement, the coating can be made of galvanized or aluminized zinc steel.

For wall, floor, and roof insulation in modules, a non-combustible heat insulator with a thickness ranging from 50 to 200 mm is used.

For floor coating, ribbed steel or aluminum sheets at least 3 mm thick are used.

The floor design includes technical hatches providing access to the cable channel (compartment).

Connection to the overhead and transformer lines is carried out through feed-through insulators installed in the side walls of the blocks.
