KTP-10-series Sets of Transformer Substations
Description
KTP-10-series Sets of Transformer Substations (hereinafter referred to as “the substation”) is designed to supply alternating current to consumers and protect the low-voltage outgoing lines from short-circuit currents. The transformer substation can be used to supply agricultural consumers, small industrial and construction facilities, sets of seasonal pumping stations, and other consumers. The substation can be connected to the high-voltage network either via cable or from an overhead power line.
Design:
The substation consists of the following components:
- power transformer;
- high-voltage switchgear (RP VN);
- low-voltage switchgear (RP VN).
Protection of the power transformer on the high-voltage side is ensured by means of high-voltage fuses. A vacuum circuit breaker or a load-break switch with grounding knives on the power transformer side can function as a switching device in the RP VN.
Automatic circuit breakers and fuses installed in the RP NN ensure protection for the transformer and lines against overload and short-circuit currents.
