KSO-series prefabricated chambers of single-sided service are designed for equipping distribution units with a voltage of 6 or 10 kV AC and an industrial frequency of 50 Hz, in systems with either an isolated or arc-suppression reactor grounded neutral. The chambers are intended for indoor installation. KSO units are manufactured with stationary mounted switching devices. Our company can produce virtually any construction from the available KSO chambers (KSO of the 2nd series and KSO of the 3rd series). Apart from that, we can manufacture non-standard compartments according to the customer’s technical specifications.
Design:
The chambers are a metal structure assembled from bent profiles connected with rivet-bolt joints.
The frames of the chambers are manufactured in two models:
- Using zinc (Zn) or aluminum-zinc (Al-Zn) coated steel
- Using uncoated structural steel
All components of the frame are coated with powder paint that is resistant to mechanical damage, which ensures high corrosion resistance and extends the service life.
