High-voltage grounding switches for outdoor installation of the ESO series are designed for grounding the neutral of power transformers, as well as for grounding sections of busbars in transformer substations. The grounding switches are manufactured in a single-pole design with a rated voltage ranging from 110 to 220 kV at a frequency of 50 Hz. High-voltage grounding switches are manufactured in compliance with IEC and GOST standards. Depending on the agreement with the customer, it is possible to produce grounding switches with the parameters different from the standard ones.
Design:
The grounding switches feature a fixed insulator column and a grounding blade that moves in a vertical plane, with a closing contact mounted on the upper flange of the insulator.
The grounding switch is operated with the help of a separate motor drive (RSD-1) or manual drive (RSM-1). Both drives have electromagnetic locking to prevent errors on the part of personnel. The drives are equipped with automatic heating to prevent condensation.
