A ceremonial opening of the Multi-Profile Machine Operators Training and Practical Center took place at Kremenchuk Engineering and Technology Vocational College (formerly VPU No. 7). The event was attended by Dmytro Zavgorodniy, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for Digital Transformation, Digital Development, and Digitalisation.
Remarkably, the center was established to train highly skilled professionals for the current labor market demanding not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills in working with industrial equipment. This initiative enables students to work with state-of-the-art equipment, which is essential for their studying.
Representatives of ENERGO-PLUS, the company that hires many graduates of this educational institution, also attended the opening event as potential employers.
During the event, meetings were held with the heads of other leading educational institutions, including Mykhailo Zahirniak, Rector of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University.
At the opening, the representatives of ENERGO-PLUS communicated with Mykola Nesen, Director of the Engineering and Technology Vocational College, and Artem Netesany, who himself uses the provided equipment in the training process at VPU No. 7. As a result of the fruitful conversation, the possibility of further cooperation and supplying new equipment for training in the basics of technological process automation was discussed.
Notably, ENERGO-PLUS actively collaborates with educational institutions, helping to provide young specialists with the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience.
In 2021, the company delivered training laboratory stands to VPU No. 7 , namely, Altivar Machine for studying frequency-controlled electric drives based on the Altivar Machine ATV320 frequency converter (Schneider Electric) using SoMove software, and Zelio Logic SR2 for researching small automation systems in compact automated setups.
