
At Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University, they held Doors Open Day dedicated to Energy Worker’s Day.
The specialists from the North-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service view such events as a chance to convey the importance and peculiarities of the profession to students.
Such events are a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian energy and an opportunity to meet potential employers. The representatives of the State Labor Service actively support such initiatives and promote technical progress and safety in the workplace.
Maintaining cooperation with the students of Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics is considered to be a key stage in preparation of a new generation of technical experts.

‘Today, a special emphasis is placed on the implementation of new technologies, including frequency converters, which improve the reliability and energy efficiency of industrial equipment. The educational process, especially its practical component, is accompanied by the use of various complex laboratory stands and research equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct events with the teaching staff, postgraduate students, and students of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University devoted to enhancing safety measures during practical and laboratory work,” noted Vitalii Hryniuk, the Head of the Inspection Activities Department in the Poltava Oblast of the North-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service.
The event organized by Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University in collaboration with its main partner, ENERGO-PLUS, became an essential platform for discussion of the critical aspects of the Ukrainian energy sector and demonstration of the latest developments and achievements in the sphere:
‘The target of the event is to gather and arrange communication of the specialists of the energy sector in the Kremenchuk region, as well as to invite young people. Engaging young people is crucial for the development of the industry. Such events are a chance to meet future employers, as well as to find extra incentives and motivation for developing professional knowledge and skills,’ commented Andrii Kalinov, the moderator of the event, professor at the Department of Automatic Control Systems and Electric Drive, and Technical Director of Research and Production Enterprise ENERGO-PLUS LLC.
