A guest lecture by Oleksandr Kasich, Deputy Technical Director of NVP ENERGO-PLUS LLC, was held at Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University for students of electrical engineering programmes.

 

The event was organized as part of the educational components “Energy Conversion and Control of Energy Processes in Electric Drive Systems” and “Automated Electric Drive of Typical Industrial Mechanisms” under the guidance of Professor Tetiana Korenkova.

 

The lecture was attended by first-year master’s students and fourth-year bachelor’s students. During the meeting, Oleksandr Kasich presented the company’s activities. Since 2013, NVP ENERGO-PLUS LLC has been working in the fields of electric power engineering, electrical engineering and electromechanics. He also shared practical experience in implementing engineering projects.

 

Particular attention was paid to the development of the energy sector under wartime conditions. The speaker discussed the industry’s current challenges and approaches to improving the resilience of power systems. As an example, he reviewed solutions implemented at one of the combined heat and power plants in Ukraine’s northern region, particularly in the context of ensuring operational continuity and energy efficiency.

 

At the end of the lecture, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive professional answers on current industry topics and career development opportunities. The meeting was held in an open format and generated lively interest among future engineers.
