The full-scale invasion forces Ukrainian companies to relocate, expand business and integrate into EU logistics chains. This is driven by security measures, the need to enhance operational qualifications in crisis conditions, and the search for new technological solutions to support the energy security of Ukrainian enterprises.
In 2023, taking into account the prospects of the accession of Ukraine to the EU and the main challenges of the country in wartime and post-war recovery, Research and Production Enterprise ENERGO-PLUS LLC united efforts with TWERD Energo-Plus Sp. z o.o, the Polish manufacturer and part of the ENERGO-PLUS consortium.
‘In Ukraine, we will start manufacturing products of TWERD Energo-Plus Sp. z o.o., particularly European frequency converters, inverters, and modern charging stations for vehicles. Collaboration with the European company will allow for technology exchange, improve energy efficiency of Ukrainian enterprises, and boost our internal potential to ensure resilience during the crisis. Today, energy security measures play a key role in our country’s resilience. Domestic production will aid optimization of equipment costs and quality service in Ukraine. This will become a competitive alternative to Chinese and Taiwanese manufacturers, which will not only economize our resources but will also bring us to a higher level of quality,’ commented Yevhen Korf, the Head of Research and Production Enterprise ENERGO-PLUS LLC.
Such collaboration of technologies empowers the Ukrainian company to reach an international level, expand its production base, integrate software solutions, and introduce energy-saving technologies at the Ukrainian enterprises.
The cooperation with TWERD Energo-Plus Sp. z o.o gives the opportunity to produce and maintain the following equipment in Ukraine:
- frequency converters, particularly for medium and high voltage (600V and 1100V) with regenerative braking effect;
- inverters for alternative energy, including solar and wind power stations;
- energy storage systems and power banks;
- charging stations for electric vehicles to improve infrastructure and create opportunities for electric transport;
- high-voltage frequency converters.
Today, our top priority is to ensure the energy independence of our country using innovative technological solutions.
The cooperation with Polish partners unlocks new opportunities for training Ukrainian specialists in the energy sector, which entails such advantages as using our own research base, providing product service across Poland and Ukraine, as well as introducing innovations. Moreover, there arise new opportunities for research and development work in the laboratories of leading Polish universities.
