Continuous professional growth of employees remains a key focus for the management of Research and Production Enterprise ENERGO-PLUS LLC
During a recent internal training, Andrii Kalinov, Technical Director, briefed employees on the latest requirements for the design principles and configuration of advanced frequency-regulated electric drives.
Notably, special attention was given to the structure of frequency converters, their functional features, and the specifics of configuration for various tasks and operating conditions.
‘The application scope of regulated electric drives is quite broad, ranging from high-power energy systems to municipal and domestic utilities. Frequency-regulated electric drives are widely used in modern electric transport, water supply and wastewater systems, ventilation and air conditioning, elevators, escalators, machine tools, etc,’ said Andrii Kalinov.

The usage of frequency-regulated electric drives allows for the creation of an efficient energy-saving technology, which not only facilitates saving electrical energy but also extends the service life of equipment. For instance, frequency-regulated electric drives in pumping mechanisms reduce electricity consumption by 20–50%, which is crucial in the context of rising energy costs.
During the training, the participants worked through the recommendations for additional configuration of input and output filters for frequency converters, as well as methods of thermal calculations for distribution cabinets when using frequency converters, installation specifics, and more.
All matters were discussed taking into account the operational experience with the equipment shared by the participants.
Internal training and professional development sessions for the specialists of Research and Production Enterprise ENERGO-PLUS LLC are regularly held upon the requests of our employees and partners, which arise from the changes in market conditions and its features.
